The new Claude app is in beta but may be downloaded regardless of whether customers have a free or premium membership. It delivers Anthropic’s latest AI model, Claude 3.5 Sonnet, to macOS, allowing users to interact with it in the same way they would in a web browser, but with the extra convenience of a desktop program. Claude’s software streamlines the AI experience by allowing users to shut web tabs and activate the assistant directly from their Mac.
